Audi q7 mmi version. Pls help

Hello again all. I have a 2009 q7 premium plus. Navigation, bose surround sound, ipod interface ( the old 30 pin one ). I am trying to figure out the exact bersion i have. Loke 2g low high , 3 g etc. for the life of me I cannot find out. Reason is that i want to update it to the latest spftware or trying to find a retrofit of some sorts to change the graphics. Liked the back then now it feels to outdates. Also have Bluetooth phone. No streaming though. And the cd changer in dash. Byw the bose system also has the dsp function. Thanks in advance!!

I think i did see that post. But anything i can do to change the graphics? Get them to look more modern?

It is possible to upgrade to the MMI 3G+ system from the 2G system. That way you would have a more modern look. But for the cost of parts alone for the 3G+ retrofit you would be better off trading it in for a newer model.

So basically i am stuck with this. Or maybe i can find the parts on ebay and inthink should be just plug and play...or maybe some vagcom included wich i have

That is a video of a Q7 that has been upgraded to latest software. It is possible. Off the top of my head I think you would a need new screen, new MMI button layout controller, MMI multimedia in place of CD player, facelift Gauge cluster, etc.. In the end it wouldn't be worth it unless you're planning on keeping the car forever. And even then, you'd be better off trading for a newer model. maybe you could try to find a salvaged 2012+ Q7 with the MMI 3G and purchase the parts from there. That could make the upgrade substantially cheaper.

Yep... Thats what i was looking for... Thanks for the info... I will try and see if it is worth it. As far as keeping the car i was looking into that. I did a few mods to the car replaced some stock parts and really i wouldn't like to get rid of it...
