Flashing MMI screen.

HI there all,
I am new to all this and I was wondering if anybody can help me.
I have a Q7 2007 model with a flashing MMI screen. All works just screen flashing sometimes.
If it is hot (33`C) or cold (-20`C) sometimes it does not flash and sometimes it does.
What can I do??????????

Sounds like you have an electrical problem...take it to the dealer.

I know that it is electrical ... I have been to the dealer they charged me 4 hours of TS no fault found. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem???
I don't know if I am on the correct page because I live in Switzerland?
Nice car by the way....

I've seen a lot of threads in this forum on '07s and MMI issues. Some common causes:
- Bad fiber optic cable
- Defective bluetooth module
- Sunroof drain leaking water into MMI (there was a TSB for this on '07s)

If you search in the Q7 forum for "MMI" in the title you will find plenty of discussions that could be starting points. Not sure how else to help?

Thanks...

I actually had a similar problem once. My climate controls were all flashing on and off at random like a space ship or something. Took it to the dealer (didn't charge me), and at first he didn't believe me. Then I showed him and he said he never saw anything like it. After looking in the computer he found something about what I was experiencing, but there was no fix yet. Then 2 days later it went away on its own and never happened again. My theory is that water got in somewhere and once it dried up the problem vanished too.
