Folding side mirrors when locking doors. (Retracting Mirrors)
 

Merry Christmas to all. I have a Audi Q7 2012 USA 3G MMI does anyone know how to enable this feature using VAG Code? I do not see this option within my MMI.

In some cars online I have seen the Retracting Mirrors option on some MMIs I do not have this option within mines.

I too would love more info on how to go about getting this done. If this truly can be done with a VAG update, I can't understand why Audi would hide this option to begin with!

I know that Mercedes had this option at some point. The motors burned out pretty quick after the first year or so...

FWIW you can set the mirrors to auto fold upon door lock in the Q5 via MMI.

Living in Maryland and have had 3 cars now with folding mirrors and have never had a problem in winter so far. And i also use it as a feature to know if car is locked or not.
