Every other manufacturer seems ro be there. What's Audi's mantra agin? Never follow........

The answer I got from auditalk was that it will be available in the third quarter as a dealer...
 

installed option. Two screens that attach to the back of each front seat. Plus they will be detachable. Our toddlers enjoy the DVD player in our MDX so I have to wait to get a Q7 when the DVD player is available.

Agreed - I'll see if I can wait it out, as after market is never the same.

I'll probably order the Q7 hoping to match the Q7 delivery date with the DVD availability date...
 

since it is a dealer installed option. I will just have to make sure that any required DVD prewiring is already engineered into the Q7.

Seen a lot of cayenne's with aftermarket, the only one i like was a silver one with big screens, he installed them in the back seat, rather than the headrest..

It is a bit unusual considering the Q7 was designed for the "U.S. market" . . .
 

and virtually all of the large SUV's for this market offer rear "entertainment." It is not a priority for us (us=family) but clearly it is for a good portion of the target market.

All right, who participated in the focus group for the Q7???? Blame it on the bean-counters. I bet its their fault fer sure. Not enough margin in a $1200-$1700 option?? Then again, look how long it took them to get Nav+ here in NA.
