i discussed the claim with my insurance company and their logic was amusing----but probably ultimately correct. Since the car hit the garage, and not the other way around (i.e. roof collapse), then its an auto claim.

We have an umbrella policy with everything under the same policy so its a matter of semantics, but oh well. Should be fixed this week. no harm done.
