Best Q7 ever.

Brake fix is available. Just got mine repaired at the dealer. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...56497-0001.pdf
Sunroof : roof rails should be lubed by the dealer. Had that problem. Now fixed.
Sour smell : time for a new cabin air filter. A/C drain tube flush

Good luck.

Should wait for 2020 refresh in this case

We test drove the a6 with the new mmi and did not like how everything is touch screen now. Sure add the functionality to do touch screen but leave essential buttons like AC and such be manual.

So the current gen q7 can be had for a good deal, still debating on cars. Started a q7 completion / rival thread.

Liked the new X5 a d Gle 2020 was nice as well.

My rattling / creaking roof and/or headliner is driving me nuts. Going in for the third attempt to try and remedy hopefully soon.

WOW 100K on a 2017 that's great to hear... I'm not even close to you at all, only closing in on 20K but it has been great. Besides the brake TSB that fixed the brake squeal for me, and the fuel rail recall the only thing I had done was two software updates which is IMO normal these days.

Excellent to hear this. Also still in the mid teens but so far so good. I have a bit of tire noise on my run flats but understand this common at 14k mil's.
Had sunroof adj do to annoying rattle. So far so good

Default Perfect history on 2017 Q7

What a great car.

I pull my trailers with it, I do 100 mph whenever I can, and it's a work vehicle that gets usage - not pampered from garage to garage. It's on the interstate, on Wisconsin county highways, city driving, construction sites, and Chicago traffic from time to time.

It's been to the Audi dealer every 10,000 miles for service and I change the oil every 5,000 miles in between dealer servicing. (Dealer service, not "a shop".......these cars are engineered machines that need to follow the schedule put down by people who know the most about them. I have no sympathy for the person who complains about issues when they take their vehicle to a non-Audi dealer mechanic.)

My Apple CarPlay does not register and that's okay. (I'm sure I turned something off in my phone or my kids changed the settings.) I never liked the Apple CarPlay anyway since I have a good map.

Tires - I get 50,000 miles out of my run flats.

Oil - don't use a drop between my 5,000 mile changes.

I go through windshields and floor mats. I also wash it regularly and polish it often.

Look great / runs great..........looking forward to the next 100,000 miles.
I can echo NEVER in the shop for repair once at 63k Q7 2017. Very impressed Audi has come a long way on reliability. I also tow RV trailers, use and use the air suspension often. My only issue was picking 21” wheels which made the care visually but these odd numbered wheel sizes makes tires much more expensive. Think Corvette tires without mileage warranty however it tows and sticks to the ground like glue.

Using the Q7 like it was intended.

Did the windshield have to go to the Audi dealer to have the technology or cameras tuned? It may be an issue of which package is on the car but I have to replace my first windshield here shortly.

FWIW I just replaced mine at the dealership for $2,500 including wheel alignment and alignment of electronics/sensors. I also have HUD, so that may have added to the cost.
