Im going to install my valentine 1 today hopefully with an add a fuse. I wouldnt trust my soldering skills on a small item like that. Especially if its being plugged into the fuse box.

If you don't want to solder, you can get a crimp-on spade connector and attach a wire to it. Just search to find one that is very narrow, the same width as a fuse leg, Then just plug it in to the right side of a free fuse. Depending what cable you are using, there is usually fuses built-in. I added a dash-cam and a Valentine One, and between them, there is probably 5 or 6 fuses total in the connector, cable, etc.
