So I upgraded my order to a 3.0t which gives me 19" wheels. I have the option of either getting regular tires or the run flats.

Normally I would get the regular as I feel they wear better and have a softer ride with less road noise. However, the Q7 doesn't have a spare which is concerning.

Anyway, what would you guys recommend?

Run flats because there is no spare. Here's what I do...when it comes time to change out the first set, I keep one old RFT in the garage in case one goes out and I need one in a pinch.

Otherwise before long trips I just say a few hail marys
