Agree with this completely. We leave our 2.0 in dynamic mode at all times, it definitely reduces the lack of "go" power at low speeds. It truly is a different car in this mode and would agree with the 3.0 only crowd if it were not an option.
I had the 3.0 liter on a long loaner (loved it) and still bought the 2.0. I just wanted to keep car payment low and I know we will trade in in 2-3 years so don't buy a lot of packages or things that depreciate a lot. I didn't think it was worth the 6K when we primarily do suburban driving and 2-3 road trips a year. This is great on road trips just like the 3.0...

Thanks everyone! I did test drive the 2.0T yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the drive. I purposely did not try the 3.0 because as someone mentioned above, if I had, I would have obviously liked it better. I have to have the vision package and DAP so getting the 3.0T brings the total cost way up than I am willing to spend unless I go the pre-owned route.

At the end of the day, you go with your needs and budget. There is always something bigger and better out there, but you need to know what meets your needs. Glad you found what fits you best.

This recent review that Alex did on the 2.0 explains some very good points on why you may want to consider a 2.0 over a 3.0. I own a 3.0 but having spent a lot of time in a 2.0, his assessment is pretty spot on and the first I have seen that touches on some of the specifics related to the 2.0 that you all may find interesting....

Test drove both and was pleasantly surprised by the 2.0 which felt sprightly and definitely felt lighter at the front. Eventually went with the 3.0, because I am sometimes impatient and aggressive, and also wanted HUD/Prestige. Even then, I know the 2.0 would have been adequate a great majority of the time.
