20 " Wheel Swap
I did a search...has anyone swapped out the 20"s with another set of 20"s keeping the same stock tires? I can't find any good versions...would love to see it. I'm trying to decide between 20, 21 and 22.
thx!

I wouldn't recommend replicas on such a heavy vehicle. If they are going to stay all over the year on the vehicle ..why don't you look for wheels from a reputable brand or just Audi OEM.
BTW what are your plans for the stock 20's?

Those are just images of the styles. While I rarely run reps - some are fine for what I do. Prefer OEM. Probably keep the 20's for when I trade the car in. But not sure yet.

make sure they're easy to clean. The stock 20s have a weird lip on the inside that collect mud and dirt and so many spokes, nukes, and crannies. I really don't like cleaning them.

After talking to Blair automotive here, and going thru all the mods (or lack thereof...lol) available - I decided to just keep 20's on. 22 is too big for Dallas roads, and while 21's are great - after research there are so few tires available its ridiculous. And so pricey. I just put Michelins PSS onmy S6 and they were like 330 - but decent 21's start at 350 and go to over 500. AND Blair stated in their experience with 21s -- RS7, S8 Plus and Q's - the 21s don't last. I wouldnt mind 20k - but they said anywhere from 7500 to 10k on average. :/
I'm thinking these - 20x9.
I wish some peeps on here had pics of 20" swaps so I can see a really good example.

After talking to my service manager and also my guys at my Audi tune store here, Blair Automotive, I decided to just get some Hartmann 20s'. Everyone agreed that due to the weight of the car and the swap in bolt pattern limiting choices, to be the safest we need a flow formed wheel or forged. It is really the first time I have heard of weight being an issue - but the reality is it does make some sense. And safety always comes first.
I'm going with the stock-ish split 5 spoke -haven't decided which finish yet. It ends up being the safest, easiest, and least expensive. Keeping the stock tires and not having to deal with 21s wearing and the lack of choices is fine with me. Its more the dog car than anything so I'll just keep modding my S6.
