Default 2017 Q7 Audi Connect doesn't work!

I took delivery of my 2017 Q7 on 1/19 from Audi Palo Alto. My Audi Connect has never worked. The dealer did managed to get the wi-fi to work in the car, but nothing else (Google Map, Audi Connect doesn’t work). They said ATT was having issues? really? hard to believe. Anybody else having Audi Connect issues with the new Q7?

Did you try rasp (Remote sim access profile)? You can use your Phone's connection to connect. I have TMO and I don't want to pay AT&T for another connection. I am wondering can I use my Phone's TMO connection with Audi connect.

What is rasp (Remote sim access profile)? This is my first Audi and I have no idea what that is.

Am having the same issues on my new Q7 as well. The dealer is not sure what is happening. I am able to connect to wifi but the car would not connect to google maps. Keeps saying trying to connect... According to the dealership the the new Q7 doesn't have a SIM card, it also shows that am connect to the MMI app and its active. But still won't connect.

This makes me nervous. I am picking up mine today and when I let the dealer know this has been an issue they replied "We will take care of this, don't worry you cannot believe everything you read on the forums."

Rest assured I will not be leaving that dealership until this is working.

I would not sign anything until they get it working for you first.

Audi has screwed up again it seems. The dealer told me there is no SIM slot and the SIM is hardwired which cannot be accessed. I did not believe him at first. Then he told me the new Q7 is AT&T. I asked about rsap which lets you use your phone internet connection. He said he is not sure about that. I am still deciding between Q7 and xc90.

Rest assured you should never say rest assured The Audi connect system is not working and Audi Corporate is working on the issue. I should know more this week.
