I’ve had mine for over a year and a half with no brake noise. This morning I backed up during a cold front, temps in the low 40’s (oh the humanity) and heard a slight squeal.

MY2018, below 30 this morning in NYC, had the brakes squeal for the first 5~6 stops. Once they warmed up a bit, they were quiet. But the first stop sign by the neighbors house is going to hear me coming every morning this winter

I doubt they'll be running to buy a new Audi anytime soon after hearing that...just tell them it's Audi new reverse alert sytem alarm that's part of the DAP lol

Same here, this morning with the cold and snow I heard the brakes squeal slightly for the first time in the 6 months we've had it.. I figured it was due to a combination of the cold weather (below 30) and the rotors being wet, since in warmer temps with rain they haven't made any noise. I must of jinxed myself, because 2 months ago I posted that my brakes have been quiet.

BTW my brakes don't sound anything close to what the Q7 in the video sounds like, that's ridiculous and Audi really should take care of it.

I took my Q7 in for its 20k service and finally decided to tell them that the brakes make a horrible squeal in reverse. Its been doing it since new. The service writer told me that it is a known issue that AUDI is working on coming up with a new brake compound. They made note of it on my account and would get a free set of the new pads when they get released.

I really wanted to like this Q7, but for me, this will be the first time and last time. Too many annoying issues, the brakes being the latest and loudest of them.

Waiting for new BMW X5 or, if I can tolerate the wait, the X7, to see if I like either. Will dump the Q7, but only in the summer when brakes don't squeal.

Apparently you have never owned a BMW. Because the last three I owned were BFPS.

True, have not. But you bought two more after the first being a POS? There must be some attraction.

One Audi POS and I'm done. No such attraction.
