How many miles do you bring your Q7 in for FIRST service? when I bought the Q7 last year, they told me to bring in for service at 5K miles, but I already pass 5K miles and there isn't any remind or indicator for service due. I call my local dealer (not the dealer that I bought the car), the service manager after check the Vin told me my car first service due at 10K miles. He said it depend on the Q7 VIN number, some require at 5K mile other require at 10K miles for first service. Anyone experience this?

That is correct.

Some models, like my 2016 A6 have service at 5K, 15K, 25K, etc.
The 2017 Q7, as others note, is every 10K, starting at 10K.

I've got about 4k on my 2018 so going to take in for a first oil change. Figured I need to have the guys do the V1 hardwire so they can do an oil & filter while they're at it. I haven't looked...do these cars run synthetic or dinosaur oil?
