2017 Q7 Wheel Specs ?
Anybody know for sure the exact specs for the stock 20 & 21 inch rims on the new Q7?
From the research I've done, it appears they went from a 5X130 bolt pattern to a 5X112 pattern (which happens to be the same as the Q5 & apparently most other Audi models). My vehicle (with the 21 inch option with summer tires)will be here in about a week & I'm trying to get a jump on shopping for winter tire & wheel combo. Unfortunately, most sites don't list specifics for the new generation Q7 yet (Tire Rack has a few but they're not real thrilling).

5 x 112, 66.56 mm centre bore and an ET of 35-42 should be safe, but I haven't seen an official spec on this yet, but those are typical Audi numbers. As you've indicated, the same wheels will fit on a number of Audis so just check out the ones for the Q5.

I haven't confirmed this myself, but at least according to the parts guy at the dealer I buy my Audis from, the 4M Q7's oem wheel specs are indeed 5x112 with the same 66.6 center bore as all other current Audis and the widths/offsets are as follows...
19 x 8.5 ET28
20 x 9 ET33
21 x 9.5 ET33
Compared to my SQ5 which has 21 x 8.5 ET33 factory wheels, and I also have a set of Q5 S-line wheels that are 20 x 8.5 ET33 that I use as a winter set.
This at least leads me to believe that offset requirements are the same and assuming the wheel diameter is enough to clear the calipers, wheels should be interchangeable between the two models. My plan is to again use the Q5 S-line wheels as a winter set for the Q7 once we trade the SQ5 for it. Will mount different tires obviously. I really hope it fits.

Try this site it lists the rims and allows you to check alternative rims against your vehicle.

Thanks a million guys (girls ?) for the info. That's what make this forum fantastically useful .
It appears that the change from 5X130 to 5X112 will greatly enhance our options for finding a set of winter wheels

Let me know what you find out on wheels and preferably 20's so I have less research to do. Send photos of interested wheels and I will help give my opinion . Looking for winters also!

I'll see what I can find. I'm also thinking of going from 21s to 20s for the winter. I've seen some 20" winter tires that were actually cheaper than 19" (21s are prohibitively expensive for a 4 or 5 month tire) . Besides 19s just look too dinky on our cars.

Hate to bring this dead thread back to life... but can anyone help with a fitment question?
Vertini RF1.1 20x10.5 ET 30 for a 2014 A8L... will those fit on a 2017 Q7? I know I will need new shoes on those wheels...
