Thanks. It shows Q7 2011-2015, but it works and is accurate with the newer generation? mine is 2018.

Yes, it fits perfectly for all Q7 from 2017-2019.

I meant all Q7 with 3.0 TFSI engine.

Yes it fits 2018 Q7 3.0T but doesn't read oil level correctly. It reads too much oil than actual.

So it's longer than it should be. How useful would it be if it's not accurate then? did you check after it was filled after an oil change?

The MMI shows 100% full when the oil level is at the top hash mark on the dipstick. I used about 7.3 quarts from the last oil change.

Use it to check whether the oil is dirty or not.

Keep in mind the second year service requires a brake fluid flush which could be a PITA at home.

Dirty oil means nothing. Heat cycles naturally darken motor oil. Modern gasoline-direct-injection engines cause soot, which darkens oil. It's a myth the color of oil can indicate when itís time for an oil change.
