So far, 5 of us, car ski season loaded, cargo box, did just fine(for what is intended to do for us-main fam platform). Did not feel underpowered up/down to Tahoe.
kinda cooled off slamming it too. Rides perfect for now.
Cheers,

I think that would be the prudent way to go. Doesn't make sense to buy extended warranty, and then turn around and do something that could void any claims against that extended warranty.

Has anyone done a real dyno to see if there are good gains?

AWE advertising a minute power gain. It figures.

And don't me wrong, I'm stage 2 GIAC, going 2+, on the 5.Although there is about 100 ponnies/torqies and few lbsesies difference, I never felt underpowered in the 7 after driving the 5, IMHO. So 333 shaft, is plenty satisfying for what the 7 is meant to be and do. Plus I do notice excellent MPG,which is rewarding for long hauls.

cheers,
Bob

I don't think that when we bring our vehicles in for routine maintenance, they're not going to outright tell us that they detected modifications and have flagged it as TD1. The TD1 flagging was only brought up to me in the past when attempting to claim warranty repairs related to the engine (in my case, it was an ECU tune, so I already knew the risk when I bought the Avant used).
As far as the ECU is concerned, it cannot detect that anything has changed so there is nothing to get flagged. The piggy back just scales back the boost readings into the ECU so that it doesn't open the waste gate and unload boost. Net gain is a bunch more HP to the ground.

I honestly really doubt Apr will come out with a tune for it since it's completely different then all the other v6 supercharged models it has a completely new and different supercharger which probably means different pulley and everything. And I believe it may only be in the 2018/ possibly 2019 models. It sucks because I also wanted tune intake and pulleys I just don't see it happening I offered my vehicle to Apr and never heard anything I think we're **** out a luck but I hope not.

So I saw in Poland Stage 2 tunes around 440-450hp with both pulleys done on USA models. Engine code CREC
See example
Audi A7 4G 3.0TFSI CREC 333KM-> STAGE 2 445KM / 554NM

It isn't for a 3.0T CREC motor. APR doesn't have a development car, if you want a tune REVO is the only option currently.

The site advertises 2017+ Q7 4M. APR+ tune...wondering why APR is falsely advertising a tune

I’ve seen besides REVO, racechip 4M users on this forum. Any reviews on the Racechip?
