You didn't download the entire database as they only let you pull up to 4 regions. This 12 GB download is the entire North American continent...

Then was I supposed to get some sort of messaging on what regions would/could be downloaded? I received a message asking if I wanted to update map database to 2019 (or something like that), I agreed, and off it went.

Add me to the frustrated list. I can download the map update to an SD card, but my car won't recognize the card. I have tried three different cards, and used three different formats for each card, and still no luck. I have also tried to do an OTA update, but get a server error message. Geez this is frustrating.

Did you use Java to open the update? I just downloaded and updated mine no problem.

It downloads just fine, but my Q7 won't read any SD card, saying that it is unrecognized regardless of what kind of SD card or how it is formatted. I finally got it to work with a USB drive--or at least it is 40% done. Hopefully the rest of it will finish today.

Mine went easy with the files on a USB drive.
Make sure all the files are on the drive, there are a couple, no folders just in main directory. It takes about 45+ minutes...

Having issues updating my Map to 2019 via website. It’s only giving me the option to buy the 2019 map. Currently the 2018 map is installed.
