Default 21" Wheels Replacing Tires & Wheels?

I have a 2018 Q7 3.0T with Prestige Package with 21" Audi Sport 5-twin-spoke design wheels and ContiSport Contact 5 SUV Summer 285/40/R21 (A008850) tires. I also have

Would like to find a more readily available tire (usually stocked in house or available within a few hours) even if I have to change the wheels to a smaller diameter (e.g. 20, 19).
How would recommend going about selecting a wheel and tire.....(thru dealer thu after market?....pros/cons).

The "sticker" lists
Standard- 19" 5-V-spoke design wheels.
Prestige-20" 10 spoke wheels with all-season run flats
What came on the car was actually 21" Audi Sport 5-twin-spoke design wheels w/summer tires.

thanks -Alex (aka Elec)
p.s. fyi-I have reviewed all the relevant threads in the Q7 MKII forum, but If you know of a relevant post then let me know.
.
Long story short:Feel free to skip over the tale of woe. F
6months-sidewall RF torn....got replacement later same day brought in from 110 miles away. (Charleston, SC)
1month ago....roofing tack in RF from nearby construction....took dealer next day to get tire in. (Charleston, SC)....A local independent could not get the tire in for 3-4 days.
2 weeks ago.........near western AL, TPMS goes off...managed to get to Birmingham, AL on a Sunday....Dealer got tire in from afar, waited 6 hours on Monday am.
The TPMS correctly identified the involved tire location.

The tires I have now, I find are not routinely stocked at Audi dealers or tire shops
I realize I can use the compressor, tire-slime or call Audi assist. However, cannot afford the time to wait for the tire to arrive from "OFF".

Elec, welcome aboard! I'd head over to Tire Rack, enter your vehicle info and start shopping for a smaller diameter wheel that appeals to your eye. Simple.

Thank you....................I was told by the dealer...................(would not recommend a smaller wheel) which I don't understand since 19" is standard and 20" comes w/the Prestige package.
Does this make any sense to you?

You should have no problem finding someone to trade your 21s for 19s. 255/55/19 is a very popular size. I think you just had a run of bad luck.

I don't trust anyone from the dealership giving me advice. I've proven the technicians wrong on several occasions.

Do you ultimately want 19" or 20" wheels?

I have a set of 20" wheels I would be willing to trade, if you are interested.
