Default advanced key

I just purchased a 2018 Audi Q7. we received two advanced keys. how can I tell which is for driver one and which is for driver two?

The keys have different finishes.

thanks. I've got one with chrome on the back and the other is plain. is one of these linked to driver 1 and the other to driver 2?

It just remembers what you set each key to, so you can choose yourself.

There ain't a whole lot is remembers besides seat position and folding mirrors. Other important setting like radio presets and settings are not remembered. They are not that smart

Also, one fob has a silver trunk release button, and the other does not

If you are referring to the numbered seat position buttons on the door, there's really no relationship to the keys. You can memorize the seat positions using the door buttons for whichever driver you wish and give each key to whichever driver you wish. When that driver locks the car with his/her key, the seat position will be memorized by that key doing the locking.

I could be wrong, but I think you might actually have to lock with the fob button (rather than the door touch sensor) for the memorization to happen.

This is great information. Thank you. I've been struggling with the whole concept of relationship between #1 and #2 buttons and key fob. Huge help. Thanks again.
