Speaking of annoying issues, do you guys find it annoying that it doesn't make a sound when it unlocks? Or do you actually find the sound annoying? Just a curious question. I've been used to different number of chimes for lock & unlock on my BMW, so now it feels a bit strange to have complete silence when unlocking.

I believe you can turn it on through OBDEleven

I'm fine with no sound other than the locks unlocking.

At least we have the Audi Connect app on our phone to check if we locked our car or not. You have no idea how many times I had to walk back a block or so and hold the key fob up in the air, hitting the button to make sure I locked the car. That's a huge convenience for those of use who live in the city.
Eppieguy, is there a master sheet or thread with a list of all coding possibilities? I was able to code my X5 with $20 cable and free token/license (legal) using my laptop. Now they made an app that uses BT OBD but I didn't really feel comfortable using that. I'd love to explore non intrusive coding options.

I'd love a definitive list too. I've pieced together stuff from several websites and the OBDEleven does have a list, but I think there are more things that it can do.

We kept a shared google excel sheet on BMWs where people posted their results/comments/etc, sort of collaboration with trial and error. Like how changing speed to below Xmph on blind spot gives error, etc.. that would be really cool if we can help build something like that.

Thanks. I found this too, but I'm not sure it's updated. I believe there are posts deep in that thread for other programming stuff that's not on the main list. But it's probably the best place to start.

Thanks,
So we just buy the OBDEleven and install the app, that's all? I'll take a look at the threads, thanks for the links, but at a glance I didn't see the getting started instructions or something like that.
