I'm actually military stationed in Germany. I been in Germany going on 5 years. My Q7 will be US spec.

US spec since I'm American living in Germany. I just got the Prestige package and added the cold weather package. Felt the prestige would satisfy all my needs.

Probably best value right there! Everything else is just a want...

On same boat last year, and the wait was not fun. I was checking this forum everyday for advise and issues. I was researching on accessories such as dashcam and floor mats.

BTW Audi offers their Dashcam system which is expensive, does not integrate with MMI, Price/Quality not worth to consider.
See example https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4G0063511...-/132425222224

US prestige vs EU

- EU only Diesel 3.0 TDI or SQ7 with 4.0 TDI (2.0 TFSI as a fleet car)
- EU Matrix Full led
- EU Sline exterior (Sline can be bought in Canada)
- EU Sline seats or "S" style seat (diamond style)
- EU standard 5 seats ( 7 seater as option)
- EU electric hatch (you can hide in under bumper by pressing button in the trunk)
- EU you can have full leather package ( top of the dashboard and door trims)
- EU 22" wheels option

These are major. In EU there are not models divided to Premium Premium Plus and Prestige. you can customize each option by adding that to price

US advantage - hell less expensive cars in US. In EU basicly you have to add 18 to 23 VAT tax and in Poland in particular 18,6% of the "luxury taxt" on top.

Summary US spec + price better than EU

Yes Sir! I was like a kid in a candy store then realize the extras like the night vision or black optics package although nice, was not needed for our needs. The one thing that made me toss and turn at night was the drivers assistance package. I finally decided to add it at the last min but the order was already sent up to Audi and they began production. My wife and I are still happy and overly excited.

Does your Q7 have the rear amber turn signals? I heard that they must be amber in EU and that they swap them out when exported to US.
