Any one has 2.0T and regret it?
I for one, am regretting buying the 2.0T instead of 3.0T. I bought the Q7 initially for the wife, which moved from Sienna and only drives like a 'real' housewife. Basically she wouldn't notice the difference (performance wise) between a Smart and a Ferrari other than the outlook. But for some reason, I have become the main driver for the Q7. And for each time I drive it, I regret not getting the 3.0T.
Any one has 2.0T and feeling happy?

I would want the 3.0 just to because it is so smooth, quiet, and effortless, however, the 2.0t I'd still be happy with considering my commute is pretty much all traffic and no highway.

Me here
For a $78,000 cad car, not worth the price for a 2.0T given the size,
I also made a big mistake here,
Was conned by salesperson into buying 2.0T,
fully regret it,
stupid for VWaudi to even put this engine in this car,
only realized after 1 month of buying
good fuel economy though 8.9L/100km city no traffic

We have a 2.0 PP and absolutely love everything about it.
We test drove both engines and knew exactly what we were getting. We never plan to tow. Most of the driving is in slow DC traffic.
On the highway, both are pretty much the same car once you're up to speed. Saved us thousands of dollars.
With that said, yes, its a little louder when getting up to speed. But you forget about that pretty quickly.
Although this is mainly my wife's car, I do drive it pretty often. I have never had an issue passing or getting the acceleration I needed.
Doesn't the 2.0 today have faster acceleration than the previous model?

Yeah, they've done some impressive adaption to the Q7 with the 4 cylinder engine. One of the internet car magazines recently staged drag races between the Acura MDX (V6), VW Atlas (VR6) and the 2.0T Q7. The Q7 was the fastest in that group.

I have spent a lot of time in both (own the 3.0) and this is one of those things were if you test the 2.0 and just stop there and buy it, you will likely be very satisfied as it does a really good job given what it is and it's limitations in the car. That said, the "smooth, quiet, and effortless" mentioned by Symawd above is very evident in a 3.0 vs 2.0 comparison.

I saw Audi UK’s website shows There are two engines for Q7, both are 3.0 TDI, one is 218 PS, the other is 272 PS, which equal to about 215 hp and 268 hp. Really?

I saw that and was quite surprised the 2.0 was quicker than the MDX. We have a 2016 MDX and I have never once felt like it was sluggish or under-powered. I think the 2.0 gets a bad rap here.

What works for some doesn't for others. I have no problem taking a car on an exit and fishtailing out of the turn, but some people find that disrespectful and sometimes scary. I don't know why, but I will entertain the passenger's opinion and slow down a bit.
