Default Anybody swapped their gloss inlays out (Or other trim)?

Thinking about swapping gloss black trim in my Q for the brushed aluminum version. (Not the plastic kind)

I have all the documents for installation and wondered if anyone else has been through this before?

TIA!!!!

It might be easier to get it wrapped, this way, if ever you want to go back to stock, you can just peel the wrap.

That's achievable with some works and time. You would need to replace the center console insert, the front console pieces with the air vents (they're in the same assembly), and the door trims. If you Q7 doesn't come with LED ambient lights, this would be a great chance to retrofit them, as the parts mentioned in above are identical to the ones that needed to retrofit ambient lighting.

Well I took the console apart today. Does anyone know how the ambient lighting transfers over to the new trim? It looks like it's Part of the assembly
