Default Anyone have warped rotors this early?

So I have about 1100 miles on my Q7, and when I start breaking from a highway speed moderately hard, I get a low pitch moan sound and a very slight shimmy in the car. Could just be a very minor issue but I understand things happen

This car is SO much nicer then my old 2016 and 2018 XC90. It's such a smooth power train and we absolutely love it! Plus everything works on it!!!!!!

Mine at 3500 brakes smooth as glass. What weather? I am in 60 degree southern California with no snow.

I'm in the northeast (NY state) lots of snow and crazy conditions.

I've had this happen on a different car (brake judder) - had to do with poor protection of rotors from elements (lack of a splash shield) which caused rotors to cool unevenly and brake pad deposits affecting the rotor surface. Switching to aftermarket rotors and a TSB which added splash shields was the solution.

Loving my 2018 Q7, also. It is somewhat disturbing to hear about brake problems this quickly. Mine seem smooth and have yet to make any noise.

Then perhaps they have deposits or some type of issue?

I wouldn't stress it. This car is light years ahead of the XC90 and SPA models. You think this is bad.... lol

Did you break in the brakes? It's possible they haven't been bed in properly.

I did a few hard stops from 80-85MPH. They're pretty bedded in I believe
