Default Anyone received a recall letter lately?

Saw that some of the guys in the A8/S8 discussion have received a letter related to a fire causing fuel leak. Wondered if any of us have. I have not.

No letter yet but we do have an active recall based on VIN. Audi Recall Services by Vehicle Identification Number

When I was in for service last month I was told that there is recall coming in regards to the fuel rail. However at that time the SA told me there is no fix, no ETA for the fix and there was no additional information he could pass on at the time.. Again this was last month, beginning of Feb.

Thanks for the link...my VIN (06/16 build) shows the recall is needed. Will check under the hood for any fuel smell next time I drive it.
Also received 0 notification from Audi thus far and it shows the campaign started 02/01 with the remedy being replacing the fuel rails, you'd think with the risk of fire we would have all been notified by now at least by email, then letter.

My 2018 (delivered 11/17) has no recalls or service bulletins. That's weird because service said there was one for the backup camera and they updated it. Also waiting on parts for brake squeal.

I just had this done and there are other threads about it as well. About ~3 hours of labor and fairly simple. Apparently no major issues reported yet but Audi seems to be playing it safe. Just go in on your next regular service and they will get it done.

Did Audi techs run your VIN and it showed a qualifying for the recall? Mine was built in March 2018 and the VIN recall / service bulletin tracker shows nothing.

I didn't get any letter. I was told there were 2 non-urgent recalls when I last visited Audi service. They did the repairs among other things I asked them to do.

No idea. When I contacted the service manager at my preferred dealership she mentioned there was an open recall for the fuel rails. They completed it and all set.
I would call your local dealer and ask for an adviser and have your VIN handy to have them check.
