UPDATE: received them two days ago.

Good news: they fit very well. I would not say absolutely perfect, but very close. Doesn't seem to be any risk of damage to the surfaces. Plenty deep enough to still use the handle to close the door.

Bad news: for the front, they sent me two lefts. Now messaging them through eBay to get a replacement.

Another thought is if those cups are placed in the handle area used to close the doors and if there's stuff in them, wouldnt that interfere with getting your hand in to close the door?
you can lock but can't unlock from the rear doors.

Here are some photos. The iPhone is a 7-plus. You clearly don't want to put that in there. I doubt even a small iPhone would be very secure.

Since they sent me two driver's door boxes (and are sending me a replacement passenger door box), I have an extra driver's door box. If anyone wants it for free, PM me a prepaid USPS self-addressed label and I'll ship it off. Package weight will be 5 oz. First come, first served.

dude that looks pretty good! funny how such a small thing can have a big impact. the Q7 is definitely devoid of good storage areas in the front. the center console armrest storage is a joke. thanks for taking the plunge to test these.

I bought a similar set for my c63s and the fit is perfect. I put my keys or parking card in there. Works very well. No rubbing or noise.
