Default Audi European delivery ending

Don't think I noticed that this was posted already - Audi is ending the program. I had a great experience with Audi Euro Delivery - sorry to hear that others won't have a chance to experience driving a Q7 on an autobahn.

On the other hand, I should searched better - there is an entire forum dedicated to Euro Delivery and here is the thread on the program ending:

Too bad, we have always wanted to do a European delivery. I thought that maybe my wife’s SQ5 would be a good candidate but that turned into a Mexican delivery so she sat tight with hers. My Q7 was a sudden decision so that was not in the cards...
Maybe as you say, something in the future.

This is a bit of a late article. It has already ended at the end of last year. It was announced around September 2018 if I remember correctly. It is a shame and was the final nail in the coffin for me to switch brands. Audi is having lots of issues at the moment. I did ED with my '13 RS5 six years ago. Stayed one month and had a blast. This time I picked up a Mercedes-AMG C63S at the beginning of May and I'm still here. Dropping it off end of next week and then head back home a week later. It's been an awesome two months crisscrossing Europe. The highlight was probably the 48 hairpin mountain climb up to the 9000 ft Stelvio mountain pass.

The famous northern side for the run up:

And panorama shot of the southern side for the way down:

Amazing pictures, your trip looks like a blast! I liked the EuroDelivery so much that SO and I decided to do it again once we are ready to trade in the Q7 in 4 - 5 years. Alas, if it's not brought back by Audi it will be either a BMW or a Volvo..

Sorry that Audi cancelled ED. It's time for me to trade in my S7 in the spring and I wanted to seriously consider the new RS5. Did ED with my Q7 in 2016 and we loved the experience. Hoping they will bring ED back within the next 6- 8 months. I really want to do my new car ED so if they don't bring it back I think I will go MB AMG C63 S.

Porsche continues ED and it's on my bucket list. It's an option in their configuator. Along with some epic passes, the autobhan and the 'ring, both the Porsche and Mercedes museums are must-see's while in Germany.

I rented this Targa last time I was over there... absolutely epic.
