Anyone else experienced anything similar? The loud clunking/knocking sound happened more during a reverse when the brake is applied fast. However the sound cannot be duplicated all the time. The sound just happens randomly. This morning we also heard the loud knocking sound while the car was moving forward while the brake was applied.

The Q7 had the updated brake pads installed in June this year so I am not sure if it's related or not. Thanks.

It's normal, due to many complains by customers Audi in their new brake pads has replaced the squeaking with clunking/knocking. Hope you will all enjoy the new experience
