I know the Q7 is supposed to be larger than the Q5 and these are from two different generations of 2 different models, but man that Q7 dwarves the Q5. It's like that picture of Mark Ingram next to Derrick Henry that makes you wonder how they're both RBs.

Yea i move my car closer to the wall to make some extra space.. I was just ranting about about the what ifs? Hahaha.. But so far no dings.. Nobody ever try to park like this before, this is the first time.. I watch too much youtube on parking karma so i try not to hog 2 spaces even though sometimes i want to, so i just parked far away as possible but if someone park next to me then so be it. When i saw this parking job the only thing i did was shake my head and went on my way. I went to the car just to get some stuff.

I dont pull the the double space stunts or park far away. It attracts more people than you can imagine, and those that want to mess up your car. I park in a good space and hope for the best. So far so good.

At least you are not trying to park in San Diego, where most of the spots are marked "Compact" which means that they can be only 8 feet wide. Since the Audi and other cars are 6.5 feet wide, this leaves 18 whole inches between vehicles... very hard to find "jumbo" spots there. Luckily I don't live there... only visit regularly.

I'd guess it's just a natural to humans "monkey behavior" and can be well observed everywhere and with everything. Good example is shopping, say, at Costco. I'll leave my shopping cart way away from the crowd movements - to simplify picking up veggies from refrigerated area (usually quite busy with folks moving about). My cart will be left by a pile of products bought very seldom. Guess what? Upon my return with veggies a couple of minutes later there will be a pack of people around my shopping cart - still not buying, but just sniffing around. Once (being of curious mind) I pulled away and observed that very same area for good 10 minutes (I was on a phone with a friend). Not a single individual stopped in that area. Indeed, only two shoppers have decided to move through this aisle in all this time.
