Just an AD version of 8w0907064 module.
Yes, only that, all ECE parts from 1 to 7 were loaded.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying and confirming. Presumably the ECEs then don't differ from 'bh' and 'ad' versions of that module.

Finally got around to do the install today, thanks, Eppieguy, for helping.

For adaptation we used -- for both our cars -- the bh version:

q7nf_bcm2_8w0907064bh.zdc

(My car is a Feb. 16 build.)

No Problem, thanks for the help as well, nice meeting you.

For all of you who may be on the fence with this Mod, it looks fantastic when it's done, sweeping taillights look awesome and I really feel that they are much more noticeable than the red OEM direction signals.

Has anything changed for this mod? Last I recall you have to buy the euro taillights or blacklines, and a module for the sweep. Then the programming.

Could you maybe summarize what's needed. Is a VCD still needed or can the OBDEleven do the programming?

Thanks.

I personally would not have guts to play with the FW with OBDEleven.

Nothing has changed, still need new taillights, still need the module and still need to program with Vag Can Pro. I had 3 places tell me they were sure they could do the programming with the Vag Com and they all admitted they were wrong, and OBDeleven, nope, nothing from them yet.

Glad to hear taillight kits are getting properly finished up.

For anyone in the future who is working with a shop or has VCDS or OBD11, VCP (Vag Can Pro) really is required to provision the taillights. So far no other tool does this the same way.

Cheers!
