Default "The Bluetooth function is currently unavailable"

I'm getting this message when trying to pair my wife's Android phone to the Q7.

Here's the background. 2017 Q7 we took delivery in August 2016. At that time, the dealer paired this phone to the Q7, and all is good.

Then in November 2016, another car hit my wife (no injuries), but the front pax side door was smashed pretty good. As part of the repairs, the Q7 had to be "reprogrammed" at the dealer, which wiped the Bluetooth programming clean. Seems like it should be simple to pair the phone, but when I try I get this "The Bluetooth function is currently unavailable" message.

TIA for any help, as I'd rather not have to go back to the dealer on SuperBowl Sunday.

Try to go to menu, settings, factory reset, and then check telephone and bluetooth/ wifi. I have to do this on almost every new Q7. Must be something when updates are done that messes with the system until a reset is done.

Thanks for the tips. I tried the reset, and then I tried to do the setup. Not sure if I am following the correct steps, so I took some photos. I also find it a little odd that in the factory setup section "Telephone" is greyed out.

I can try when my wife, and the Q7, get back home. I believe that screen is only to select which items are to be factory reset. After the reset, all the checked items return to an un-checked status.

Correct, the check marks will go away after the reset. You'll have to change your Wifi password back to what it was after the reset as well. Hopefully this fixes it.

I changed the wifi password (we don't use the wifi) and still no luck. It seems like somewhere in the setup I need to Enable Bluetooth (similar to my phone), but I can't find that setting anywhere. I follow multiple paths, and always get that same message "The Bluetooth function is currently unavailable".

Any more suggestions?

Update - while trying to find the Bluetooth setting I also notice the NAV system is disabled. This morning, my wife stopped in at the Audi dealer, and two sertvice techs looked at the Q7 and what we hoped would be a quick fix, isn't...

So she'll be dropping the car off at the Dealer this week.

Update Feb 16 - Car reprogrammed at dealer. Bluetooth and NAV working again.
