Brake Dust
 

Now that some of you guys have had your new generation Q7s on the road for awhile (mine's in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean) - I'm curious to know if the brake dust problem is as bad as it was on the previous generation?
When I got my new 2013 Prestige S-Line, within two weeks I had to have a complete new set of Hawks installed - it was either that or clean the wheels every time I put it back in the garage (I'm a little picky :D) My 2017 will have the silver 21" option which will show the crud more than the 20" with the black accents.

I've had mine for about 1800 miles, including a 600 mile trip. Brake dust is minimal for me, although I've been driving it like an old man.

Me too - 3600 miles and I AM an old man. Remember, it IS a SUV, not an S6; I drove my S6 like I stole it.

I was in a similar situation - if I wanted to "hot foot" it, I'd hijack the wife's TTS.
But - now that we're trading that one for a new A4, I guess that won't be an option any more :mad:
