Default Button cushions side bolster, will the break in?

Hello all, I was at the dealership today and after a test drive, liked it a lot and decided to pull the trigger, before signing the papers I asked to see the one with ventilated seats and they showed me brand new (still covered with foam) car that just came in. After seating in it I noticed right away the side bolsters on the bottom cushion are very pushing and almost painful, now they said that this exact same car and seat as I was test driving.

Did anybody else had an issue like that with their brand new Q7? Was it fixed after a certain amount of time (like break-in period)?

Thank you in advance.

I got one delivered so no one else touched it before me (sorta) and the seats were fine. Maybe different leathers?

The bolsters are adjustable via the MMI if you have prestg/lux

Unless you’re very, very wide, and the bolsters were pumped up, then you would find them tight. The seats are the most comfortable since my old Land Rovers.

Bell2041 - you need to understand that the seat is the same between non-ventilated and ventilated, UNLESS you have the luxury package or the Murrillo letaher seats. Make sure you were comparing apples to apples.

Yes, that the strangest thing. I did not feel the pressure in the showroom model or test drive one, but as soon as sit in the brand new/ never touched one, I felt it. It might be that it just needs to break-in, but that is why I created this post to see if anybody else encourage that. I really don't want to take a risk and then be stuck with the car that is painful for 39 month

When I first got my car this (or something similar) bothered me, it doesn't now. Not sure if I changed or the car did or I just found the perfect seat adjustment.
