I recent leased a 2019 Q7 premium plus 4cyl for my mom but now kicking myself that I did not purchase a 2018 Q7 Prestige. I later realized the prestige has nicer inlays in the dash that are gloss black, led lighting more sophicticated and the v6 engine and HUD which is nice and autoclosing doors, the prestige was almost $200 a month and the premium plus has the DAP option that the pretige did not have. Sort of frustrating with all the shuffling of options. the pretige has about 15k miles, did i make a mistake in going for the 0 miles car...thanks

I have the Prestige and love the HUD and auto-closing doors... but I would probably give those up if I had to choose between those and the DAP, which you got wtf the premium plus and wouldn't have with that particular Prestige.
2 biggest questions: 1) Does she care or mind that the 2.0 is a bit underpowered for the Q7? If she's not a spirited driver, she may not really care.
2) Will she use the DAP features? I don't remember whether things like autobraking are standard anyway or only available with DAP. The safely features are a must-have, IMHO. But if those are present regardless, then will she use the dynamic cruise lane assist features? If not, then she wouldn't miss then in the Prestige I guess.

If it was the premium+ with DAP and a 3.0 vs Prestige 3.0 without DAP, I'd take the former in a heartbeat. The 2.0 engine is the only part that would give me pause.

Maybe I misunderstood your post but at least with the 2019, all Prestige have the DAP. Was the 2018 different so that the Prestige came w/o DAP in 2018? Page for the 2019 prestige below:
