Default Cabin Noise-Wind

Anyone else experiencing a loud cabin when only driving with one window open? Seems to only go away when I crack the passenger side window a bit. (2018)

I have not tried it on Q7, but that happens in general on all of my cars I think. I don't drive with window open though as vents work well.

I have noticed this in all cars I've driven. This may help explain: deadspin-quote-carrot-aligned-w-bgr-2<\/title><\/svg>')}.f_branding_on.blog-group-deadspin .editor-inner.post-content .pu

I have noticed this too, actually it was on delivery day while merging onto the highway.. Honestly I didn't give it much thought since every vehicle I have owned over the years I have experienced some wind buffeting. Now granted some worse than others, but since 98% of the time I drive with the windows up, especially at highway speeds it's not an issue for me.

In our previous Lexus, the wind buffeting was very bad at times when the sunroof was fully opened at highway speeds. What I found was that if I only opened it approx 80% it would eliminate almost all of the noise

That's why GL came with the 'elephant ears' in the back. I wish Q7 had that option as well. It aids in cabin venting and to eliminate the buffeting noise when windows or sunroof is open.

The Q's sunroof opens about 80% by default for that same reason. Another press will fully open it and the wind noise is much worse. It also has a pop up wind deflected in from of it. The sunroof can be coded to open fully by default but it's much better as is imo.
