hello - got the orca black for $575 more, but wouldn't have had a problem getting the regular black -- just what was available at the time with the options I wanted. can anyone tell the difference if the two were not side by side?

Do people pay extra for looks and shininess or is there another benefit to metallic paint?

just curious because all black q7s look the same to me!

I can tell the difference and actually prefer Night black. It is just true black where Orca has a hint of blue to it.

I can see the difference in bright light. To me the metallic (Orca) has a bit more depth and agree a bit of blue tone. The non metallic black is classic but shows the quality of the paint finish more.
