car wash tip
I've been taking the Q7 to the dealer for a car almost every month. Last month, my wife went with me and she asks me if I tip the Audi employee for the service. I said "no", I never tip them because I feel that it's part of Audi service. It's not like they hand wash the car. They just run the car through the washing machine.
Now I'm thinking it over and sometimes I do feel a little regret about not tipping the guys. What do you guys think?

There are exceptions, like cab drivers. They are doing their jobs and nothing special or hard labor, unless they carry bags etc, for some reason, it's common to tip them. We don't tip bus drivers, why cab drivers?

I'll have to ask my hairdresser at SuperCuts how much she makes. I tip $2 on a $15 haircut every time. I've seen my dad do it when I was younger and just kept up the "tradition."

I hand wash my car at home every Sunday so I can start the week with a fresh car. I ask the dealer not to wash the car because the machines just scratch the paint. In any event I have never even seen the person who actually ran the car through the machine at the dealer. A porter just brings the car around.

well bus driver is a part of the union, they don't get paid minimum wage and they also get benefits.. cab drivers on the other hand are driving for nothing if they don't get a customer they don't get paid, also they have to fill up they're own gas from the money they earned..
