Cargo Cover Included?
 

Hi,

Are cargo covers included by default in a 2018 Prestige? or is it a separately purchased add on?

If they are included by default, should they also come in a CPO if they were part of the new car?

We have bought two MK1 Q7s both CPO. In both cases the cargo cover was missing at the dealer. Each time I pointed out that it was supposed to be there and asked for one and they found me one from another vehicle. I’m not quite sure why I thought it was so important as we never use it. It hangs on the car port wall all the time.

Our 18 Prestige did not come with a cargo cover. I think it was an extra accessory.

I had to buy mine from the dealer parts department.

Good to know, mine lists one of the order detail sheet, I will have to be sure it is there.

I always check the original window sticker of the car when it's new. When I bought my cpo q7 they took a few stuff out such as roof cross bar , cargo cover , replaced with regular floor mat instead of all season floor mat , and the Audi phone charging cable ( not necessarily but it should be included since it's on the window sticker ) I mentioned all these to the dealer and they gave me all of them brand new.

Looking at my initial order, and I see the cover was a $295 option. I dont even know where I kept it once I took it out day one. What a waste

It’s an extra cost item believe it or not.

I'd be happy to unload it, but I suspect my wife will want to keep it (for what I dont know). I can check
