Default Cargo Liner recommendations for 2019?

I bought both the Audi mats and the Audi cargo liner for my Q7 and only after I got them did I realize they were slick as a greased pig. Not a problem for the floor mats as they are secured but for the cargo mat it is really annoying and may result in scratches from cargo eventually. I thought I had seen a thread on this but am unable to find it with any typical search terms. Right now I am seeing four possibilities, Weathertech and three on Amazon.

Car is at the dealer for 4 days getting Expel and Ceramic Pro so figured I would get one ordered.

Amazon 1 Amazon 1

Amazon 2 Amazon 2

Amazon 3 Amazon 3

Weathertech

Anyone had any experience with any of these?

Thanks!

3D Max is what I have, it's very lightweight and can be used with the 3rd row up / down. I use 3rd row now and then keep it down when I am not using which is 80% of the time.. So having the flexibility to raise and lower the 3rd row with the cargo mat on was my key requirement. Using it for the last 1.5 years now, and its holding good. Highly recommend. Not sure about others.

Enjoy your Q!

I have maxpider floor mats (highly recommended). I have ought them for my last several vehicles. My car came with the weathertech trunk liner and it is extremely slippery. I will be replacing it with the maxpider one.

Those do look good but our three dogs will not be going in the Q7 so needed just a floor cover.

Yeah I am not impressed with the cargo liner — my 2005 Acura TL has a much better liner. Looks like I’ll need to grab a third-party mat like everyone here.

Its too bad no one makes an interlocking mat that allows for the upper third to be removed if the third row seats are up. Seems like an obvious thing to do/make available...

3D-Max is a no brainer for me. It is the only one that would fold along with the 3rd row. Great when you have to carry extra kids occasionally and do not want the hassle of removing the liner.
I had the Audi one originally and now it is back in the box.
I have weathertek for the Kids area : 2nd and 3rd row. Love it as it is fits tightly and prevent stuff to make it way between the floor and the mat.
In the grown up area we have the regular Audi carpet.

Good luck.

I too was totally disappointed with at the $200 I spent on the original cargo liner from Audi. Recently got the 3D Maxpider and am quite happy with it.
