Once it is really into production takes about one week, at least it did for mine and I have almost every option available.

I got the" Your vehicle is in production" email on July 23. My Q actually was in production the week of August 14-18th. It was almost 4 weeks after I got the email that my Q7 went into production that it was actually "in production". Then August 21st I received the email that production was complete and on the way to the Port of Emden.

Just sent an pm to Audi USA yesterday and got some info on where my car is. My Q is on the Cronus Leader and should be to the port of San Diego October 8th. Right around the corner!!! Not sure how long it takes to get the car from San Diego port up the coast to the dealership (200 miles). But I am excited.

My replacement Q7 was scheduled to arrive in San Diego on October 3rd. It had the summer tires on it and because it is currently just about impossible to find the 285 40 r21 all-season tires in the US they ended up placing a new order for me yesterday
My long wait just started all over again.

Since the all-season option is now offered at the factory, I am shocked that your dealer didn't enquire as to whether they could just order those separately and then swap them. Starting the whole process over is an unacceptable response.
