A couple Google maps, virtual cockpit and Android Auto questions
A couple questions.
First, I know the turn by turn is done by the Audi Navigation with just a Google Earth overlay, but what about points of interest. Is it hitting Google maps to find points of interest or does it go to the Audi navigation when looking for restaurants, gas stations, etc.?
Second, if you run Android Auto on the center screen, can you still have the Audi Nav/Google Earth on the virtual cockpit?

No, POIs is not hitting Google. They are also coming from the local map data. To use Google for POI search, you have to do an online search. The easiest way is to press the voice button on the steering wheel and say "Google search <what you are searching for>' or say Online Destinations and follow the prompts. This performs a Google Local Voice Search. You can say pretty much anything for the search term that Google understands. Your voice is actually sent to the Google server's for interpretation.

Yep, it presents you with the list and asks for the line number, then asks whether you want to navigate to it. If you turn on short dialog in the global MMI settings, then it immediately starts to navigate after specifying the line number. Long dialog has too many "are you sure" type prompts for my taste. You can also scroll through the list by saying next page/previous page. The nearest match is at the top. Works fairly well. You can also say cancel and then it leaves up the list and you can manually scroll through it or look at the details if you are not quite sure which one.
