They temporarily re-connected the harness which allowed the car to come back to life so they finally were able to move it into the shop. Now waiting for a new harness connection and should have the Q7 back next week. Good info...Audi should/will issue a recall for this if that's the case since it could result in something very serious.
Production date?

Hey buddy, just want to follow up with you. How's everything going with your Q7 after the fix?
Does this look familiar to your problem?

No further problems after wire harness repair. From your other thread, it appears you still had power to be able to re-run the error messages and record them. Ours went the error message cycle once and then the entire car and all electronics went dead. What was the source of your problem?

My dealership found an error code related to the transmission control module. It seems as if they didn't want to bother to dig the real problem out, so they replaced whole thing.

OP, thanks for sharing this - so sorry - but so glad they figured it out.

Our 2008 was returned to AOA due to stalling - it would stall in intersections in downtown - leading to ignorant honking and middle fingers at my poor wife baby girl. (AOA made it right, in a big way), but wanted you to know that I sympathize for sure.
