Default Dealer discounts

Looking to buy 2019 Q7, but seeing that the dealerships are taking off 2-5k because if dealer discounts, sonic prices, and Financing discounts.

should I consider this as part of my negotiation? I’m seeing that many of current Audi owners have been able to shave off 12-13% off msrp, but I’m wondering if I could get more .

thanks for any help! Looking forward to being a first time Audi owner

You should certainly be able to get more than $5k off at this point. I would say 8-10% is a good discount. Keep negotiating

You should at minimum get 6% off if you count any financing benefits as well. I would say higher is likely too, 8% counting the current 3k (1k + 2k Audi finance) benefit.

I noticed Audi financing rates were quite high though compared to banks, I am guessing that's how they cover part of that 2k financing benefit. Although there should be nothing stopping from you refinancing in couple weeks.

Seperate question related to this topic. How frequently does Audi run finance benefits like this one? ie should I expect 3k rebate in April-May timeframe as well?

twice a year
season of audi (November and December) and summer of audi (July and August)

incentives most other times a year on SUV’s is limited to a loyalty discount

My quote said 1k incentive regardless of how you finance and 2k additional incentive if I went with Audi Finance, although their initial rates were really high (6%) so it might not make sense if you plan to make monthly payments.
