Default Does anybody knows why Map/Nav on virtual cockpit gone sometimes?

Drove my new 2018 Q7 for several days already, enjoying everything of it, and still learning all these cool features.

For navigation, I almost always use Android Auto from my cellphone, so I mostly set cockpit to vehicle info tab. But one day when I was driving on my way to work with Android Auto navigating, I switched the tab to Map/Nav in cockpit, and only saw a compass, tried so many ways (even unplug my phone to stop Android Auto) but cannot get the map back in cockpit, though the Map on MMI is still working. After I arrived and parked my car, I tried to restart then it returned back to normal. It seems very easily to happen, as I reproduced it several times already.

Though it is totally not an issue to me, as I mostly rely on my cellphone, but still feel weird and would like to know the logic, does anybody knows? I didn't find any answer in the Owner's Manual for this.

Yep, I know it, I'm not asking to show Android Auto in cockpit, but at least the native navigation should always be there. My case is, the native navigation turned to be a simple compass, not map at all, which looks weird to me.

Ah, yeah I've had my iPhone map up on the dash and the Q's in the VC before too. And sometimes it's the compass. I havnt tried to spend the time yet to see why that is.

Yeah, I'm guessing the same way, just hoping it could have a tooltip letting me know it is by design not a bug, then it would be more user friendly.
