DOVER HIGHWAY TRACKING
 

Has anyone been able to track the location of this vessel recently? Travelling from EMDEN to JACKSONVILLE with ETA 3/21-3/22.

Last available data is from more than 7 days ago (>170 hours).

Unless you want to pay for tracking via Satellite tracking you only get updates from vessels when they pass near an ground based AIS station which are only on dry land.

Thus when the ship is in open water it is dark.

It will appear again when it gets a few miles from Jacksonville.

Yep, for now just keep watching and waiting, it'll pop up soon enough OP. Waiting is the hardest part, been there done that many times tracking vehicles.

I learned on Friday that my car missed the ride on Dover Highway. It is on the Jasper Arrow which just exited the English Channel, so after waiting for the Dover Highway to show up near port in Jax, I have now been set back 8 days. It is scheduled to arrive in Jax on 3/30

Some of the sites that have for-pay Sat tracking also have a free trial period. Look around for that.

Just looked at it by chance and it finally showed up near Jacksonville, after more tha 8 days of no info. about location.

I guess there is no effective tracking by VIN in US!

how do you find out which ship your car is on ?

Sometimes the dealer can tell you. Or you can go here:

Under Liner Schedules, enter USA Gulf and VW. It will download a PDF from which you can guess the ship name based on the port arrival date from the dealer.

Then go here:

My dealer told me it is on DOVER HIGHWAY.

dealer called me today and my car will arrive san deign roughly on the 30th. left europe on the 3rd. production week 0816. lives in Arizona.
