Default Drivers side mirror whistle 35-55ish?

If you open the drivers window it gets louder. If you put your hand around the outside of the mirror it goes away. If you put masking tape over all the clear plastic that shows the signal indicator on the mirror it goes away.

As luck would have it doesn't want to do it for the dealer. Seems less intermittent in colder weather.

Anyone else?

Thanks,
-Jeff

In colder weather the plastic insert shrinks just enough to cause an air gap whistle? My .02. Dealer should replace the insert/mirror housing.

That's my take on it too. Am I the only lucky one?

I had the same issue. Dealer inserted some felt in the mirror (unknown exactly where) and the whistle was gone.

Hmm. Ok, thanks good to know. I wonder if the clear strip comes out easily and putting something behind it maybe was the trick.
