I tried to search these forums for a similar issue but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone else have a problem with the automatic steering wheel not returning to its position after starting the car? For me the wheel goes up after I stop the car, but it doesn't always return to its position when I start it. If I press the memory button (1 or 2) it moves to the correct position. This is for a 2018 Q7.

I have the same issue, sometimes I don't even remember it anymore, I guess I'd say I got used to driving with steering wheel on higher position.

Hi! I had the same issue... I followed the instructions in the manual: I memorized the settings of seat and steering wheel when the car was parked (Car has to be started but without engine) and with driver door open. It worked for me.
