Extended Warranty Decision

There is an episode of The Simpson's where Homer finds out that the reason why he was dumb was because he had a crayon stuck up his nose, and it was impacting against his brain. He had it removed, and got smart. He was less happy being smart, so he had Moe stick it back up his nose. Moe hammered it farther and farther in, but Homer was still not acting dumb enough. Moe hammered it one more time, and when Homer said "Extended Warranty - how can I lose!" - Moe said "Perfect!"
It is a reasonable method to manage risk, but not a way to try to save money.

Yes - if you take $100 ded plan for a 8yr/100K and if you do the warranty repair/service at teh dealer where you purchased the warranty, the deductible is waived.

Second this. After owning this car for a little over a month and putting over 3.5k on it already, I'm thinking of getting extended warranty. Was thinking of going with Geico MBI but I'm not sure that covers electronics which I'm mainly worried about in this car.

Note that the vehicle must have more than 10k left on the original manufacturer's warranty to get the official Audi VSP coverage through Fidelity with Troy. You will get the Fidelity coverage if your vehicle is in the 40k-50k mileage range and less than 10k left on the original warranty.
