Default Good deal or no?

My local sales person said the best they can do is 3.5% off of $74k. That makes the total come out to around $71,410. I would like to get audicare, which makes the price of the Q7 around $72,510. This pricing does not include Audi loyalty. I am ordering the Q7.

Here are the packages:

Graphite Gray Metallic
Full Black Interior with black Inlays
Prestige
Driver's Assistancce
Adaptive Chassis
Cold Weather
Towing
Rear Seat Entertainment Preparation

Should I pass, and look around or jump on this deal?

My order was very similar and got a similar discount.

I have heard of better on this forum, but not enough of a difference to me to be worth the hassle.

How far away are your next three closest Audi dealers?

Yeah, but you've got to decide where you want to do business, I'd think. I like to deal with the local people and have them take "ownership" of the car. It doesn't look like any of the dealerships are really that close to you. Who would service/warranty the car when needed?

It would be the local Dealership. I service my SQ5 there right now.

Here is the thread of people talking about what they got off of MSRP: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-...-msrp-2904256/
If I were you, I would call some dealers around the Chicago or Minneapolis area and tell them what you are looking for and see if they would beat the price. May be worth the drive to save a few grand.

I netted just short of 5% off for a Q7 Pretige build here in Minneapolis but that was PULLING TEETH and I don't believe they would have done even that for me except that I had been a very heavy repeat buyer of another brand in the dealership's corporate owner'a portfolio.

It looks like the closest dealer is Appleton? 100 miles away? To me, that's becoming obtuse in terms of one way and round trips.

Why don't you take another shot at your local dealer on a different day, assuming they've been good to you and the cars, and see if you can't find common ground Having a local dealer that you trust, and enjoy working with, can have that "priceless" word attached to it.
