But a black grill with silver roof rails and side blades doesn't look good either.

Not necessarily. Yes, having it all black would bring it all together, however if you leave the 4 rings silver in the grill and silver accents in lower front fascia that kind of ties it all up. The only other silver thing I would probably do black is the mirror covers.

That is possible, but I found several SQ7 pics with black grille and gray side blade and mirrors. I was hoping the etron fog light chrome and rear diffusor and rails with etron badges would go together, but wont know until itse ready. I can always blacktape them later. I just thought the blacked out rear would go with the black grille. I just have to wait and see, it is also easy to remove the tape from the grille. The color in these pics doesnt do justice, it is more black in nature. The biggest problem in going all black were the stupid Audi 21 inch RS tyres that would require painting and I was not willing to do just now... This is not the prettiest car out there. I wonder what went throught the designers head when they dropped the UR Quattro type wheel arches and decided to go with the Mercedes Benz CLS oval horrible arches. I usually make my cars look good with mods, but this car has proved to be difficult.

Why not just powdercoat the wheels? Cost me $600 (US).

I agree with this, I like the way the rings stand out.. And it's easy enough to switch them to black if you change your mind down the road..

It turned out just as I hoped. This is just a color you cannot get a decent pic from. It looks different from every angle and in every light!
